Queer love carries history and layers that aren’t always visible at first glance. It holds joy and resilience, softness and strength, quiet comfort and loud celebration. As an Ohio queer wedding photographer, my work isn’t just about capturing images. It’s about honoring stories that have too often been overlooked or minimized.
When I photograph queer couples, whether during an engagement session or on a wedding day, I’m doing more than documenting moments. I’m paying attention to the shifts in body language and the sense of safety that comes from being fully seen. I’m witnessing the tenderness surface when you’re with the one who feels like home. These quiet details matter.

Engagement sessions give me the space to understand the foundation of your relationship. Instead of posing you into stiff or unrealistic shapes, I watch how you naturally exist together. The way you reach for each other without thinking, the way your expressions change when your partner says something that only you understand, the ease that settles in once you forget the camera is there. All of these moments help me tell a story that feels honest. As an Ohio queer wedding photographer, these sessions are where I learn who you are, so the images reflect your truth rather than a template.
Weddings deepen that story. Queer weddings often carry the gravity of reclaimed traditions, chosen family, and the celebration of a love that hasn’t always been granted space. I document the way community surrounds you, the ways joy fills rooms that were not always safe, and the quiet emotional threads running through the day. Your wedding becomes more than an event. It becomes a living archive of what you’ve built together.

I photograph with intention, honesty, and care. I want to tell your story in its fullness and with respect for what shaped you. As an Ohio queer wedding photographer, my commitment is to tell queer love stories with depth, empathy, and a genuine understanding of what they represent. And when you look back at your photos, I want you to feel not just photographed but truly understood.

HI! I’m Naomi and I’m a queer, autistic photographer. I make the point to mention that foremost because it plays a huge role in what my business looks like. I don’t believe in leaving our humanity at the door when we step into the world of business. I believe in coming as I am, and I invite you to do the same if you feel safe and comfortable doing so.
Being a documentary photographer means stepping into each moment with an open and curious eye. Not directing, but observing. I don’t aim to create perfect images. I aim to capture moments that feel alive. It’s not about creating magic, but about finding the magic that’s already there- because the magic has always been you. Every story I document is unique. I feel honored to preserve these fleeting memories in a way that feels timeless and true.
If this resonates with you, I’d love chat and document you, your love, and your life. Contact me today to work with me.
